About Diego

I am a cinematography-trained photographer, certified DaVinci Resolve Colorist, and experienced underwater cameraman & Divemaster.

My work is rooted in the belief that every person and every brand is already communicating something visually — whether intentionally or not. My role is to bring awareness, direction, and emotional clarity to that message.

Through years of working in portrait, lifestyle, and cinematic storytelling, I have developed a sensitivity for shaping sophisticated imagery that feels both raw and refined. I focus on building trust in front of the lens, creating space for authenticity, and directing moments that feel natural, powerful, and deeply human.

Velvet Visual exists to help people and brands step into a stronger version of how they are seen — not by changing who they are, but by revealing what is already there.
